The working group “Population Dynamics and Epidemiology” is jointly sustained by the „Deutsche Phytomedizinischen Gesellschaft (DPG)“ and the „Gesellschaft für allgemeine und angewandte Entomologie (DGaaE)“. Participants are colleagues from scientific institutions, public services, and industrial corporations specializing in the fields of applied entomology, population dynamics of pests and pathogens, and epidemiology. The working group meets bi-annually at different locations.
